baseball captain high school story

The problem with this is the premise. Because it's an anime and a shonen anime. You'll never get out of high school. How can you, as an anime, show the real life of a baseball player? Especially if he's so good that he would be drafted into the pro league very quickly. Looking it up, I found out there is no age limit to play japanese pro baseball. As long as you pass high school and have a high school diploma, you can play pro baseball. They've had a player as young as 15 play pro. So, with the system, that basically makes you a lock to be one of the greatest players ever. You would get out of high school quickly by graduating early. Go pro in JAPAN play a few years. Then you would go to the USA to make more money with a huge salary. That could be hundreds of millions of dollars. So the plot of the anime would be lost to a large extent. You will be in high school for a year, maybe two, then you would be in the pros. The thing is, if you're a real talent. You have it very easy in high school sports even if it's a high level high school. Just look at the records of most of the pros now in high school. Most of them have national Championships or got to the national championship all on their own talent, the rest of their teams was only okay.

A kind, shy and unloved young boy survive the abuse of his birth mother to find salvation and love in his first foster family. A beautiful story of an abused soul escaping his fate and learning how to be loved. I really loved this story, and even if the focus is heavily set on baseball games, the main character kindness and shyness is too cute to pass. My only regret is the lack of exploitation of the high school drama by the author. The story is centered on baseball and only baseball and would gain a lot of depth if some more highschoolers interaction is added. (homecoming, clubs, bullying, etc.)

This story is a blast one of the best I have read in ages y'all out there that haven't read this are missing out. It's gives the feel of a Captain America attending high school. The character development is also awesome.

Melissa is in 3rd year high school in cannon. So this is pretty much just wrong. Also Izuku's personality is so much different than portrayed here making the Captain America scene FORCED and just plain unoriginal.

That’s a great story. Although I can never understand how an American highschooler and football quarterback could ever say something like “You flatter me, Captain”. I don’t think any high school student would say something like that to a peer, even in 🇨🇳
