The first chapters are impossible to get through, but the author does improve over time. The system is quite original and enjoyable. World building sucks as well as some big plot holes, like a recruited soldier speaking back to his CO, delivering cryptic information, decrypticing it, and not being suspected when information turns out to be false etc etc. Overall, a decent read as long as you have brain cells to sacrifice to the mtl gods.
