This review is up to the latest chapter on Patreon (Chapter 73: Sponsorship) so will contain soilers. The MC is falling into the System Slave thrope. To summarize the system can alter reality since it forced the world to travel backwards in time just because Hyde destroyed Jackie's dad career after getting threatened by two councillors. Some of the functions of the system are locked behind of a favorability streak that he lost after 3 episodes because the system forced him to make a scene three times till he got an answer that kept the Jackie/Kelso/Laurie plot intact. The season is atm in episode 17 son there is 9 episodes left for the end of season. Unless the streak isn't limited to seasons he won't get the 10 chapters streak needed to become Lead Character and unlock the new features. And talking about the Laurie/Kelso/Jackie plot there are the system guidelines. Offscreen he is free unless the events count as an episode. If he is live he can't do a bunch of things like exposing Kelso's affair with Laurie or getting rid of Jackie's dad(Even while Jackie's dad is sabotaging MC efforts to restore the Basketball court). The nail in the coffin is that the MC is relying a lot on ChatGpt enforcing the dependency on the system...

as of chapter 127, the only significant plot hole in this novel surprisingly comes from Jackie. It's really unrealistic for Mercer not to consider that Jackie will not betray him if arasaka threatens to kill his mother. Didn't Mercer consider this at all when he's recruiting Jackie?
