Sombravida transmigrates into the world of Bleach, awakening not as a Soul Reaper or a Quincy, but as a Hollow—one of the most despised existences in all realms.
In Hueco Mundo, Hollows are not born equal.
Newly formed Hollows exist only on instinct, driven by hunger and fear, hunted by Soul Reapers and devoured by stronger Hollows alike. To hesitate is to be erased. To stagnate is to be consumed. From the very first moment, Sombravida understands a brutal truth of this world: compassion has no place at the bottom of the food chain.
Yet even among monsters, evolution exists.
By devouring others and surviving endless slaughter, Hollows can transcend their limits—transforming from mindless beasts into Menos, then Adjuchas, and finally the near-mythical Vasto Lorde. Each step upward demands not only power, but the suppression of madness and the preservation of self. Most fail. Many lose their identities long before they lose their lives.
Sombravida refuses both outcomes.
Cornered by stronger predators, hunted by Soul Reapers, and trapped in a desert where strength is law, he sharpens his will through adversity. He learns restraint where others succumb to frenzy. He learns patience where others rush toward annihilation. In a realm that strips monsters of reason, Sombravida clings to consciousness as his greatest weapon.
Fate, however, is never kind to those who struggle upward.
Just as Sombravida begins to carve out a place for himself, the world reminds him that labels—Human, Hollow, monster—are nothing more than excuses used by the powerful. In the eyes of the realms, existence itself is a sin.
But if humanity is defined by origin alone, then what meaning does survival have?
If monsters can think, choose, and endure…
Then what truly separates the hunter from the prey?
Step by step, battle by battle, Sombravida climbs—not to become a hero, nor to reclaim humanity, but to stand at the very peak of Hueco Mundo and prove a single truth:
