DC: I Reported Bruce Wayne… Then He Adopted Me
What should you do if you discover suspicious injuries on your classmate who’s just been adopted by Gotham’s richest man?
Theodore, an orphan, chose to contact Gotham’s Child Protection Services.
Three days later, Theodore was hit with two devastating pieces of news:
1. The Child Protection Agency issued a report concluding that Gotham’s richest man was completely innocent.
2. The orphanage informed Theodore that he had just been adopted by the same Gotham billionaire.
Theodore: “…” Pupils shaking
Question: How likely is it that the powerful figure you just reported suddenly adopts you out of revenge? Asking for a friend, URGENT!!!

Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne thinks his newly adopted child is acting a little… off.
He tied his bedsheets into a rope in the middle of the night and tried to sneak out of Wayne Manor.
He looks terrified when he sees Bruce treating the patrol injuries on Tim’s body.
Then one day, in the Justice League’s watchtower, Gotham’s Dark Knight heard the boy describing his past.
“My former foster father was a pervert who liked abusing little boys.”
“He had black hair, was a playboy, saw his parents murdered in front of him as a child, had a British butler named Fred, was a master of martial arts and cold weapons, and before me, had already adopted three underage boys, every one of them with black hair and blue eyes.”
“I was lucky enough not to be touched, but the eerie, old-fashioned manor he owned, the bats shrieking from the darkness, those sounds still haunt my nightmares every single night.”
With every adjective, more and more eyes turned toward the League’s consultant.
Superman, in his red cape, hesitantly offered: “Uh, I think there might be… some kind of misunderstanding? To my knowledge, Bruce isn’t really—”
“Bruce?” Theodore’s eyes went wide.
“No, no, my previous foster father’s name was Stanley. And his ex-boyfriend was named Constantine.”
“…”
The Dark Knight didn’t say a word.
But in that moment, he finally understood why his newly adopted son had acted so utterly, bizarrely wrong when he’d first moved into Wayne Manor.

After the meeting, the Dark Knight had been fully cleared but he wasn’t pleased.
Whenever he recalled those days in Wayne Manor— When his new son would beg him with trembling lips, promising to be a good boy, saying he would quietly accept any punishment, pleading for mercy when Bruce “hit him next time”.
Bruce wanted to just curl up and die.
The god among men cautiously offered:
“…Should I take him instead? He has awakened his half Kryptonian blood, after all.”
Bruce refused without a moment’s hesitation. “Request denied.”
Not even the strongest Kryptonian in the world can take the bat’s little bird away from Gotham.
Even if the new bird is a Kryptonian himself.

I just want to try to give review because of the daily review. I manage to read this story before it was removed by the author from here. But the author still continue the story somewhere else. Well, probably. 😅 Its quite interesting since it was like the what if story of Batman, that Bruce died, Martha Wayne become fem Joker and Thomas Wayne is Batman.
