No plot, nothing planned, all that you read is the product of the characters moving and acting individually. As opposed to me subjecting them with my emotions, the connection is reversed. They are the ones who dictate the story (Believe it or not, that's the way I write) A world, a story, characters, and the foolish author; we all evolve as one. This novel tries, and fails to be "sophisticated". The author attempts to copy Western novels but doesn't understand that readers can just go read that elsewhere. There is no attempt at even mixing Eastern and Western styles of writing (e.g. Lord of the Mysteries), just straight up Western. If I enjoyed reading purely Western style novels so much, I wouldn't be on this platform seeking something different.
