Going into this I was hoping for a character who was like Toriko, I didn’t really care that the mc was majorly nerfed, or that he was the younger brother of Kurenai, but the way the character was done just wasn’t to my taste. I think the novel is definitely a good novel and deserves 3.5/5 stars. I think what hurt you was world building, specifically that this is a fanfiction so I never give full points for that to fanfiction, and the other place you got hurt in my opinion was character design which I just didn’t really like.
