On their fourth wedding anniversary, Chloe Reed brought up divorce.
The man's face darkened, his sharp phoenix eyes glinting, "Just because I was with my sister-in-law while she was in labor, and not with you?"

The day after his elder brother died, Walker Grant went to Unistara to accompany his widowed sister-in-law.
For four years, he traveled back and forth between the country and Unistara. Countless times when she needed him, he was with his sister-in-law and that child.

The coldness in the man's eyes was replaced by astonishment. With the speed of a cheetah, he grabbed her hand: "From falling in love to getting married, you've been with me for eight years."
"Can you bear to leave?"
Chloe Reed calmly pulled her hand away: "There's nothing that can't be let go."
