This is a fantastic novel with a captivating story set in a historical period that hasn't been explored much. Whenever this era is examined, the perspective is usually Roman, or at best, that of the Chinese Empire. But no one has told a story about the Middle East from the perspective of the Persian Empire. This story is excellent
