I really hope Max refuses to mate with Elaina, and our poor heroine gets a happy life in the end, and her father turns up alive after suffering amnesia!

I like the story especially your portrayal of Remus. This is one of the best Harry Potter fanfiction that I have read, right up there with Rise of the Protector. I find the choice of the "gifts" that Max received when he reincarnated and how he has used them to survive and even thrive while facing what would have otherwise been certain death for any other wizard in his place to be quite interesting. I still think having Lupin shot in the head to be hilarious and completely agree with Max's description of him when he attends the Order meeting.

Overall good story. Sad thing though the mc does not have magic power, atleast till the point I read upto. He does gets some strange dream power. It would have been interesting to see how he approaches to magic. Of all mc's with similar back story, this guy really looks technologically competent. He remembers much of what he worked, studied and saw. I am from science background, even I can only remember max 2 or 3 of rows of periodic table (I do remember some columns though). You can read this story. You won't be disappointed. Good characters, a good world background, no op mc for a change and good supporting characters. So give it a shot.
