A modern magical realism novel about an MC with a cheat system. He of course overcomes his setbacks, becomes OP and does many face smacking. This scenario is not too new for many of us readers. However, what makes this novel shine for me is that the MC can be quite sentimental, and is quite respectful and caring to the women in his life (mother, younger relatives, and his love interest). This is not the case for a significant amount of modern magical realism novel I picked up. I'm glad I stumbled upon this novel and I can't wait for the future chapters.
