earliest groundhog day loop story

It’s “ok”, from what i can tell it’s a slow burn sort of novel. It’s basically Re Zero with a system same sort of forced Groundhog Day ability. Overall I give it a meh

A lot of our customers are just terrified of pudgey groundhog. Oh, did you not know? Pudgey groundhog are common, and it’s perfectly normal to be scared of them. Especially when there’s a giant pudgey lizards living on the other side of the world. We at The Equator are lending our full support to this community, regardless of any potential lawsuits. They should be free to love their giant pudgey groundhog and giant pudgey lizards to their hearts content.

Cool premise. I'd like to see where this goes. Groundhog day is a concept that I'd also like to tackle one day. Review-wise, minimal grammar hiccups here and there, nothing too major. Descriptors are immersive enough and the prose and dialogue flows smoothly. Keep on writing👍

I wish this had been tagged as reverse harem, so I would have known in advance that it’s not really my preference. The story line is so-so. It’s Groundhog Day, but the protagonist has no moral bottom line. She uses her time in the time loop to spy on everyone in the city, kills people at will, kidnaps and tortures, etc. When the time loop ends, you assume she’ll stick with the male lead that she finally seduced into bed and presumably broke the curse, but instead she uses the secrets she learned during the loop to coerce and blackmail everyone she can into either giving her money or joining her harem. She collects all of the richest, handsomest and most powerful men in the city into her harem, and they’re just cool with it. The author does her best to make it logical by saying FL is so powerful and great that it makes sense, but it really doesn’t. It’s also very slow paced time-wise- like 8 chapters to cover a lunch meeting- but somehow in the couple of months of the story, she collects a half dozen men willing to share her for life despite being heirs to massive fortunes.
