As of the currently translated chapter (98), this is the score I'm giving it. The story is interesting, the translation quality outstanding, and the characters vivid. As for the World Background score being so low, that is because the author has simply ripped off large parts of Warhammer 40k's history; most blatantly in the form of the Armageddon War. It is simply retelling the story of the Horus Heresy in 40k. The Supreme Emperor is the Emperor of Mankind, the Blood God is Horus; the 20 guilds represent the 20 Space Marine legions (and in both 40k and in this story, 2 legions/guilds fall). Tenebrum and the other dimension is also basically copying the idea of the Warp and Daemons. There are other bits, but essentially there is no doubt this is what's happened. The reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1, is because other than the parts plagiarised the world building has no real flaws. I still very much enjoy the novel, however, and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in a Sci Fi/Cultivation combo.
