A Targaryen fanfic set in the generation of Jaehaerys I Targaryen's children, at a time when the Targaryen bloodline was still pure and all was not lost. An MC who isn't just another genetic egomaniac, but who cares about his family and the survival of their house, an MC who isn't afraid to alter the canon, who isn't afraid to experiment with ideas not covered in the canon. The story started well. The way he carried himself, his skills and such. The problem was when he arrived in King's Landing and we knew when he was in the story. Basically, he's the same age as Rhaenyra. He knows he is the son of Baelon Targaryen somehow, apparently only from his past life knowledge. The timeline is all wrong. In one episode Damon is in the capital, and then in the next, without even a time jump, he's already in the Narrow Sea War. I think that's how it's done. So far, so good. The problem begins when there is a two-year time jump and Aemma is still alive! Alicent is not a queen, and Rhaenyra has not even been officially declared heir. The dialogues also seem off. Like it's AI. I'm not saying it is. But the author did a good job of making it seem that way. There were chapters where it seemed like (*) every half sentence, but it's pretty irrelevant. I don't usually write bad reviews and prefer to write praise for a work, but in this case there was nothing I could do. It seems that the author asked an AI to write a HOTD Fanfic, where he was a Targaryen and Stark bastard. A Snow. But this same author doesn't know what happens in the original work, after all he posted the chapters with the wrong timeline. I was led to read this work by a positive review of this story, but later I checked and discovered that it was a fake account created to promote this story. Summary: Could be improved.
