Too long-winded. He could have finished everything from the beginning, but what can I do? This is made in China. While it's not an airborne virus, Chinese fanfiction is a digital virus that can attack the reader's brain. For example, for people who give 5 stars.

This review is partly because of me personally not liking his "enemy" surviving airborne poison with the excuse that he was under a pile of bodies, which wouldn't be possible because he would die along with everybody else unless they all piled of top of the boy when the poison was released. Plus setting up a main rival cheapens the plot a bit and finally this novel is about potions and yet after having the ingredients to make a potion that would make him more powerful it's takes 12 chapters for it to happen. Also the powerful girl trapped/sleeping/hurt is way too overused.

haven't read this but just by the title and premise it's untrustworthy. if it's pre apocalypse; wouldn't the series be base on fear the walking dead? since the walking dead is years in the future? also patient zero? the spread is via airborne virus, unless he is the only scientist that is working on this which I don't think the French government would do, I don't know how else he would be patient zero

Literally shit. It started off well. The mc grew, he learned, he planned, he acted when needed. Then he is confronted by the ancient one and scolded like a petulant child that needs a timeout and to reflect. ONCE. FORCEFULLY IMPRISONED IN THE MIRROR DIMENSION. WITH NO ESCAPE. and then he is given a VERY forced "character development" which is actually a character regression. He was hunted by the hand, his company he built from the ground up was infiltrated, his employees put in danger by proximity to a hand spy, and the resident evil t-virus he had possession of was stolen by said hand spy to then be used as a weapon by the hand. His response that supposedly he should repent for? He contained the virus to a single island, which the hand occupied in full, allowed them to be infected to tear each other apart, then sent in a single agent to wipe the island clean, then sent in the airborne cure for the t-virus to wipe the island of all biological matter, destroying ALL TRACES OF THE VIRUS. His only fault was actively and knowingly springing the trap. He literally just stood back and let the hand's own stupidity doom themselves while having preparations in place to prevent any spread or splash from effecting innocent lives. And the worst part is, the "self reflection" doesn't even last a full chapter and then is brushed aside with "I'm sorry, I was arrogant" and then IMMEDIATELY jumps into transformers IN THE SAME CHAPTER. anger from imprisonment? Non existent. Explanation for his actions? Brushed aside and downgraded to a tantrum. His intelligence and system? NOT HELPFUL. his so called character development? Literally boiled down to an apology after a scolding from a person who turned her back on him at the first chance she got. His friendship with the other sorcerers? Not even part of the equation. All together it's a story that shot itself Early on and failed to make up for it.
