Not a fan of dating sims, but I clicked to read this because I recently read another NEET light novel that was pretty good (Kamisama no Memochou, if you all are interested, haha). I was amazed by the quality of this novel, it was a pleasant surprise. It's pretty rare for a dating-sim protagonist to not use his incredible cosmic-deity-given powers to actually date girls. Instead he uses it to better their lives. Hahaha, I feel I've seen everything -- a Chinese author writing in Japanese light novel style and using the transmigration system to truly grow the MC into a thoughtful, anti-heroic but gentle protagonist. This novel contains dueling banter, hot women, hotter girls, girly boys, boyish girls, mystical machinations in the background, secret cultivator duels, a youthful daily life, a thrilling nightly life, and more! It feels like the most well-known parts of LNs and CNs coming together into a combo confection that surpasses its individual parts. I am definitely in awe of how the author slotted so many pieces together to form this giant jigsaw puzzle of a novel. Sometimes it seems a bit crowded actually, but the story is paced perfectly with enough time to savour the individual pieces and building up anticipation for the next. I recommend this novel to people who like their stories to build up slowly but with finely woven storylines that build up anticipation, with protagonists who are tainted but good-hearted and not j*ckasses masquerading as relatively good people, and primary characters that while cliche are fleshed out well.
