It's a good read. The twist at the end gives me surprise, although I think this books is set at Victorian age or something like that? Because I don't think someone could get executed that fast. Anyway this is a good book. The writing, the character, the story are good (sorry for my lack of vocabulary). Anyway, I like this, here, take this solid 5* from me

Fantastic horror/adventure set in (faux) Victorian England. Currently my favorite novel on this site. There are too many cultivation novels set in fantasy medieval China here, so it's a delight to read something different.

Story wise, I've read a lot of other good books BUT this is my first time reading a vampire in medieval era/semi Victorian type of setting which I think will raise anyone's interest especially if you like that certain era setting. And on the serious note, there is something eye catching about this story that I can't explain. (Sorry for the grammar if ever it's incorrect. English is not my mother tongue.)
