This is a very interesting book but there seem to be two stories in one. Alex the god and then Alex the human. Alex the human is a much more realistic and interesting storyline with all his 'new' friends. What ever happened to the Ambrose family business group?

i’ve read all of her books. and this one is by far my favorite. the attention to detail. the world building. i love the characters. Ambrose is so fine. follow the playlist the author gives you. it works well with her work. the book is so engaging and and author is also always friendly and very responsive.

Honestly would recommend! I love how both know they each other soulmates but are holding back being happy because of their families. They don't just think for themselves. The characters are not bland, they is more than what meets the eye. Especially with the side characters like Eli, Eliza, and Ambrose. I am dying to read more! Great job Author!!!!

This is the first system-directed novel I've read and am thoroughly enjoying it! I didn't want anything too angsty or traumatic (tho the hard reset made my heart sting for Elian) and this has been fantastic so far. For me, the amount of drama, romance, and action is good. The pace of this novel is just right for my easily-bored attention span. There is enough description where it's needed without being too verbose and hindering the forward progress of the story. And of course, I love Elian's wit and sass, and the comedy relief from Ambrose. I've started reading other novels that also have a comedic aspect integrated with the MC's personality, but dropped them because the comedy just didn't hit right and felt forced to me. This novel seems to be very much my style so carry on, author! Thank you and keep up the good work!
