prose fiction and the novel

This novel has an ambitious scope for the world at large and manages to combine multiple facets of fiction into one behemoth. I look forward to reading more and seeing if the story develops as well as the author's prose has!

A short story is a piece of prose fiction that typically can be read in one sitting and focuses on a self-contained incident or series of linked incidents, with the intent of evoking a "single effect" or mood, however there are many exceptions to this. A dictionary definition is "an invented prose narrative shorter than a novel usually dealing with a few characters and aiming at unity of effect and often concentrating on the creation of mood rather than plot."

Fiction generally is a narrative form, in any medium, consisting of people, events, or places that are imaginary—in other words, not based strictly on history or fact. In its most narrow usage, fiction refers to written narratives in prose and often specifically novels, though also novellas and short stories.

I commend the author for his writing style and knowledge about the anime. This should be the basis of the fan-fiction genre, with endearing prose and sequence of events, an interesting plot and finally a respect to the original story line. I mean this is what fan-fiction is, a derivative of the original based on the author's bias.

TL:DR A well written story, this one. Would recommend for those that fancy the genre. Grammar has little to no errors. Prose is natural, as well as the dialogue. Quite frankly, a high quality piece of fiction. Keep on writing 👍
