i love reading this novel. the interactions between rinnie and hugo are always entertaining. i hope that rinnie is also a part of the supernatural world. even if she isn´t, it is clear that she is special (especially to hugo). i love that we see the story from both their perspectives. that makes it clear that hugo really cares for rinnie. i highly recommend this novel!!!!!!

I like the novel, but I also have some issues with certain things that are happening in the story. I am in the Victoriad arc, and I don't understand why Frey is not even trying to clear the misunderstanding with the Moonlight family. That stupid family sent an instructor who is after his life, and Frey could stop the Moonlight guy if Frey just talked to him about how he was manipulated into doing what he did to Seris. Frost and Seris can provide the proof. I already forgot if Frey was still present when Baylor confessed everything, but even if he had left with Ghost, Ada should've told Frey everything afterwards, so it doesn't make sense why Frey isn't doing anything about it. And why has Ada not revealed everything to her family? Revealing the truth would actually help Frey improve his reputation in the family. Another issue I have is how Frey was labeled as a potential accomplice in the official report. Ada is the lord of the Starlight, and there's no way she'd let that slide, while Ghost and Danzo's names were removed. Also, Ada has been providing support to the Moonlight family, but those ungrateful people are still after Frey. Why? And lastly, I want to ask who is the main love interest?

Very well written novel. Currently writing this at around Chapter 175. Hugo the main character is really well written, you can't help but feel bad for the guy sometimes. The love interests have a wonderful depth of personality as well. There are very few novels that I've read that capture the helplessness of Hugo's varying comedic enterprises. Overall, you should definitely give this one a chance, you won't be disappointed!
