A Heart's Enchantment
[A fan-fiction of Shinogiyuu (Giyuu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho) from Demon Slayer]
Maybe it's all just a dream, a nightmare. A nightmare that Giyuu wasn't supposed to have. Especially when the dream he had wasn't really just a dream and a fake scenario. But a memory.
Taisho Era, he was a demon slayer. He was the water hashira. But when he died after only a few years of experiencing a world without demons, just because he claimed his mark, Giyuu reincarnated into a weird world with his memories.
And unusually, as he grew up, he realised that the appearance he had in Taisho Era was also his appearance in the modern era. Now, he's twenty-four, a CEO in a company he worked hard for in years.
He met some of his friends when he was in Taisho Era. He met Tengen, Kyojuro, and Sanemi. But Kyojuro doesn't really remember who he was in his past life. Almost all of them has the same appearance that they had in their past lives.
Giyuu noticed that only those slayers who survived and experienced a life without demons were the only ones who remembered what happened in their past life. Sanemi told him that Genya doesn't remember a single thing about what happened in Taisho Era.
After a while, they met Zenitsu, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Nezuko and Kanao. They basically remember everything but those who didn't survive and died before even getting to experience the peaceful life, doesn't remember a single shit. Hell, they even met Murata and he remembered EVERYTHING.
Giyuu then met Shinobu. The first woman who actually made him feel things and Giyuu swore to himself that he's never going to let him out of his sight again. Her death, that night, it made filled him with rage and sadness for not being there for her but in the end, he just accepted the fact that it wasn't his fault and Shinobu actually decided to commit suicide just to kill Douma.
Giyuu just hopes that he wouldn't lose her again, no, he can't. He can't lose her, not again. He'd literally jump of a bridge.
