Napoleon đã tiến hành một cuộc đổ ngay thắng trên chính minh đất của người Anglo - Saxon. Trận London diễn ra với kết quả là người Pháp đã chiếm thành công London. Mặc dù người Anh đang huy động khắp hòn đảo để chiếm lại London nhưng những thất bại gần đây đã lật ngược tình thế. Pháp cho rằng người Anh là kẻ chủ mưu và tuyên chiến với, châm ngòi cho Đệ Nhất Thế Chiến. Tất nhiên người Anh không cô đơn. Họ cũng có cho mình những đồng minh như Đế Quốc Nga, Đế Quốc Áo - Hung,.... Thành lập Phe Liên Minh Trung Tâm Bên cạnh đó Pháp cũng có cho mình những đồng minh chủ chốt như Vương quốc Iberia ( tây ban nha ), Đế Chế Ottoman, Hợp Chủng Quốc Hoa Kỳ,.... Thành lập Phe Hiệp Ước Kết quả vẫn như vậy... người Anh vẫn thua. Hiệp ước Versilles còn thảm khốc hơn hiệp ước Paris gấp trăm lần. Người Anh toàn bộ thuộc địa của mình cho Phe hiệp ước. Sau hiệp ước Versilles vài ngày thì nước Anh ngay lập rơi vào cuộc nội chiến ( 1919 - 1921 ). Giữa phe hoàng và phe cộng hòa. Phe hoàng gia buộc phải kháo chạy đến Scotland và thành một chính phủ quân chủ ở đó ( Vương quốc Scotland ) Về phần Ireland, họ đã tuyên bố ly khai khỏi Anh và nhanh chónh cử quân của mình đến Bắc Ireland. Nhưng bị dân ở đó chống trả quyết liệt vì đa phần cư dân ở đó rất thân với người Anh ( Hoàng gia ). Với sự hỗ trợ từ phe hoàng gia, Bắc Ireland đã được sáp nhập vào Vương quốc Scotland lấy tên khác là Vương quốc liên hiệp Scotland và Bắc Ireland.
