Godseed: Uprising
In a world fortified by steel and lies, humanity’s last cities are protected by Godseed wielders, elite warriors fused with biomechanical armors forged from Aura. For sixty years, they’ve held back the endless tide of Kaijus, towering extradimensional horrors that breach reality through burning tears in the sky.
Eighteen-year-old Yang has none of that glory.
Deemed usless without awakening his own Godseed, Yang scrubs floors in Citadel Vatra’s lowest barracks, forced to watch his peers soar while he grinds himself to the bone in the training yard. But his mentor, Commander Holt, a battle-scarred legend—teaches him something no simulator ever could: "Strength isn’t given. It’s earned."
And one day when the sky rips open, a monstrous new Kaiju breaches the Citadel’s shield. Yang's mentor makes the ultimate sacrifice to save him, entrusting him by passing down his Godseed.
But after a misunderstanding, Yang is marked a traitor. The world wants him contained—or dead. After he flees into the Multi-Versal Gates to escape death with the help of his best friend. Yang discovers that the Kaiju aren't invaders at all, but something far more terrifying:
Judges.
Hunted by his peers and those he looked up to, Yang must decide what kind of warrior he wants to become—and whether humanity’s survival is worth the cost of its soul.
(This story takes place in the same universe as The End of A Story.)
