The difference between a scanner and a mobile phone1 Ответить
2026-06-29 03:34
A scanner was a device that used the use of optical technology and digital processing technology to convert graphics or image information into digital signals by scanning. It was mainly used to convert photos, text pages, drawings, and other objects into digital input devices that could be edited and stored by the computer. It was usually used as an external instrument of the computer. It was an input system in computer aided design. It was suitable for office automations and was widely used in industries such as sign panels, printed boards, and printing.
Meanwhile, cell phones took pictures through the built-in camera of the cell phone. Nowadays, cell phones had powerful camera functions that were almost comparable to cameras. There were many shooting modes for mobile phone photography. For example, the photo mode could be used for buildings and landscape photos; the portrait mode could be used for people, food, and flowers; the large aperture could blur the background and highlight the subject; the night scene could be used to shoot night scenes; the macro was used to shoot flowers, grass, insects, etc. at close range; and the professional mode could shoot special scenes but required a number of parameters to be mastered. The phone could also be used to set the ratio of the photo, turn on the reference line, level, and voice-activated photo. There were also different applications for focusing, exposure adjustment, and telephoto and wide-angle lenses.
In general, the scanner was mainly used to convert existing physical images into digital signals, which were mostly used in office automaton, printing, and other industries. The mobile phone camera was a convenient way to obtain images, with a variety of shooting functions to meet the needs of different scenes.
