This novel is terrible, the main character is nothing but a boot-licker, who chases after women. He thinks he is manipulative but is nothing more than a dog. The novel is 90% of boring conversation. I am dropping this novel.

From what i read so far,up to ch 10, its the story that seems boring... we dont know the powerlevels of cultivation either. Just the rank people have in this one sect-ish place. And there just seems to be no motivation other than MC feels entitled to become the strongest because he is "so smart".

So far I've read chapter 38 ,compared to the the translation of the chapters;the story is poor and the mc, Chu li is really annoying especially with his taste in women . The only good impression of Chu li is loyal,having photographic memory and skilled in sword. The mc here chases Zhao ying by going against Zhuo Feiyang ,where the both of three were actually childhood friends untill the mc didn't show potential in warrior skill and where the girl Zhao Ying starts to stay with the other guy as he was strong and the mc was left alone behind. And even the girl says why the mc being weak doesn't recognised his place instead of supporting him. Later on when the mc gets stronger and defeat Zhuo Feiyang only after that did Zhao Ying starts to stay with the mc. Literally the Girl zhao ying maybe the heroine or donno stays with whom either is strong. And the mc also is really annoying why love the same girl who was once even insulting and didn't stay with him when he was weak and zhao ying has no talent or anything where he could find most of the warrior except that she is a lil good looking and nothing else and not so loyal and only going after strength and fame just any typical girl where could be found in any story like a Passerby. And the mc could have gone after other girl instead of this zhao ying who can't choose any boy either the mc or zhuo feiyang always indecisive and creating the distance between the mc and zhuo feiyang. If only she didn't exist in the novel maybe the the novel would've been better and many readers wouldn't have dropped it.

That's right, the author should be able to create a better character, I mean at least with a little better brain (logic, strategy, etc).

Yeah... not sure they are childhood friends... more like thei entered the place together..? Also... he is mildly interested in her... but i feel he acts more like an older brother with her and don't want her to and up with some trashy guy... The story is very.... slow paced... and his duties are boring ate first... but thankfully his love interest is not her and he gets more interesting missions as his rank goes up... ^^

Oh come on... i only read the ch1 and i stopd, its really really bad and doesnt give me a reason to even try

There really isn't Harem in it. I've read quite a bit of it. Wayyyyy more than most of these "reviewers" There is one woman he actually wants to be with, yet cannot be with her. The other women are either women he saved, women he works for, women he works with, or women he is training. There isn't any sex in it and he doesn't act like so many of those boorish, uneducated, unenlightened men you see in so many of these novels.
