But WOTM was trash tho. It made no sense, lots of plotholes and the end was fucking atrocious. The author gets bored easily and rushes his work to end it quickly.

I have no idea how you can say WOTMW is a 5-star story. The ending was just so patethic I wanted to cry.

Way too rushed of an ending, but he is one of the very rare actual Ruthless and Evil MC's. Absolutely great character, and that really saves the story. If any MC from any novel deserved to be immortal, its Leylin. Did every single thing necessary to get what he wants, and no righteous idiots ever got to his head.
