Personally i got lost several times, but finding out were you were last is pretty easy. if your using google chrome just press "Ctrl H" to find your logg. and even if you can't find it in your history logg you can just take a look at the titles of the chapters.

Spider cave was never a thing. Ice scorpion cave was tho. Ice scorpion cave was around 200-400 chapters in the underground world level 1. Thinking from memory btw so its maybe wrong

what is your first and second fav?

Dantez
DantezLv5Dantez

I Shall Seal the Heavens and coiling Dragon, but I’d say my top 3 has no particular order, it just happens I can’t choose which of these three is my favorite 🙂 And those are exclusively the ones that are already finished, otherwise I would choose RITF as my favorite. #underatednovel

Warlock magus world ending for it eas rushed from the beginning it was slow paced and good but in the later chapter the novel became rushed ans the story is ruined in my opinion xD the novel is great only at first upto 800 chapter but above that it became boringgggggg sooo boringggggg

I get what you say, but it had a good ending. Some novels get weird and complicated endings that end up ruining the whole novel (Douluo dalu for example, great for the most part, but the ending just made me regret reading the whole thing). WMW had an ending that was completely satisfactory and the only novel where the mc actually gets everything he wants without losing anything. I did was disappointed with the war because it was so hyped through out the whole novel but it was so rushed!

The ending in WMW was trash tier rushed for boredom. I really thought it was some kind of joke at first. Plus there are so many plotholes in the whole novel. The first and middle parts are really good though, especially the time in the cave world where he plays Aizen without loosing.

I think that it's not just a problem with WMW since many xianxia novels suffer from the same problem of a inadequate ending. I think that it has something to do with the fact that towards the end of the story things get really unrealistic and unrelatable so we don't feel the connection that we felt at the start.

The ending feels unsatisfactory in most novels because the end consists in “mc finally wins + shocking revelation” and then that’s it. I recently read a novel called ‘Everyone else is a returnee’ and although it had the most ridiculously overpowered protagonist you can imagine and the story wasn’t the greatest, it was still a very enjoyable read. The reason I mention this story is because the author made the ending right. That closure was very good. The author gave the main story an ending which wasn’t too bad but then he released many after stories explaining what happened with every character after a few years. The reason most protagonists fight the final boss is to get something afterwards (it may be peace, survival, or a new power), so if the author finishes a story shortly after the final fight or significant event... then the reader feels I unsatisfied because he didn’t get to see what happened next, he didn’t get to see the benefits for which the mc fought so hard to get, so they say the ending sucks. Truth is, most novels don’t have a truly bad ending, they just lack a couple of side stories which tell what happened next. A few paragraphs describing vaguely what happened next is not enough.

There is some truth to that. In the case of WMW since there is a sequel, maybe the author kept the ending vague so that people will read his next book.

I dropped RITF 'cuz of the news that in the later chapter he stopped describing anything and started writting summaries of the chapter to finish it fast. After finishing it he even claimed that he wasn't really interested in writing that novel and said that Qidian forced him to write a novel to keep his Platinum rank. This didn't sit well with me so I dropped it back then.

Really? The novel has very good ratings on Qidan(Chinese). The rivalry between Ye Xiao and mr. bai is something very unique and interesting. Many characters have many facets of development and you can tell everything is very well constructed. Although there a few chapters where you can tell the author got lazy with his writing... it is still a very good story.
