Very true. Story is so fucking slow. also it's too mystical and mysterious but this gets annoying as literally hundreds of chapter go by and still so little action nor information of substance given

Now you are just lying when you say no information or substance,in the end this is just 3 character each trying to achieve something while fucking over the other 2.you don't get it cuz you treats it like the other overly simplified things here and you aren't willing to invest time and thinking in reading it which is fine btw. Each writer has a style and while I agree that Mao ni has gone a little experimental with this there is nothing wrong with doing so as long as he is good at it and boy was he good.You can still dislike the style but plz don't blame the writer for not fullfiling your pre-requirements/expectations, instead blame him for the short chaps which is a true issue for exemple in this case.again what I am saying is that you guys fail to mention any true problems(there is some as no fiction work is truly perfect) with the novel so far and just downvote it for not being your cup of tea(slow,no action...).

It's too boring novel. Zee Tian Ji is superior to this. ZTJ did slow pace novel well. Joy of life another Mao ni novel was also done well. This novel is by far the worst Mao ni novel in history. Absolutely atrociously boring. Literally mc is shrouded in so much mystery it's not done well. Tales of the herding go does mystery better. The world also is characterized as super boring. All the sects are boring. Green mountain sect literally does nothing but a damn sword. So boring and unoriginal.

Boring? That's like your opinion man don't force it on others. Unoriginal? No,just no.just how many novels show you the fear,suffering and hatred of the normal folks towards Cultivators? Just how many writers give you real social commentary on xianxia worlds?Just how many reincarnation novels have oldmans that act like their ages??? Villians that aren't clowns?side characters that matters? Young masters and Sect masters that use their minds? Just how many MCs are as apathetic as Jing jiu? How many novels don't glorifies their MCs?Just how many novels have those crazy twists and turns?that foreshadowing? How many writers choose this weird style that never treats you as a child and challange you? And reading your reply I am certain you didn't even try to understand it. Mc's identity is as clear as the sky and the mystrey was well done it's just you people refusing to search for clues ans hint in the prose and dialogue and instead waiting for ****ty writing like him exposing himeself and the cliché villian yelling "I knew it was you X". For exemple: hint 1: the prologue is just one sentence by MC about what if you got the chance to live again. Hint 2 : an elder ascended and a girl noticed something was wrong. Hint 3 : a youth awakens and his eyes show sadness,anger and WISDOM that doesn't fit his age. Hint 4 : an old man is lying death beside him Hint 5 : the title says "the youth who waded in the river again" this like hint 1 symbolisme to reincarnation. All this was in the first 4 chaps and is enough to know 1-he is reincarnated(hint 1-3-5) 2-he was betrayed (as he died angry/sad). From the next chaps we know that he knows secret Green Mountain techniques and THE PAST of one of the PEAK MASTERS so his identity became clearer and clearer= he is an important elder of green mountain,he died recently,he was betrayed.all this in like the first 10 chaps.

Again if you don't like it's fine it's not everyone cup of tea.I for exemple hate Nightfall from the same writer.just don't treat it like a trash becuz it isn't.

Man I read till 200 chapters and still didn't know what is happening in the novel, as said it is so overly mysterious that it furstate me.
