Excellent writer that knows how to captivate an audience with their beautiful storytelling and world-building (and they even know how to end a story well, a rare trait!), but also a terrible racist and nationalist who demeans and dehumanizes anyone not Chinese. If you haven't yet, don't start. It is both addicting and disappointing because of it, and you don't need to read this to live a fulfilling life, or even just find a good webnovel to read - there are other good stories out there that don't also dehumanize others.

While it depends on your taste, thus far my highest rated completed wevnovels here are "Lord of Mysteries" and "Solo Leveling." My highest-rated ongoing novel that I have confidence in is "Is That A Wisp?" by Suiyan. Suiyan in particular is an excellent author who has stated he will do no harems, which has allowed him to include a lot more romantic depth across characters, with their romantic interest even shifting from the MC to other side characters without creating friction, which no other author I have yet read on this site has done or attempted to do. If I remember more, I will update. I hope this helps.
