There are all sorts of gods, I assume you are in a religon which is totally fine, but in novels like this are ussually more like demi gods because there is not one. anyways this story is set in A game world so it is not as if these gods are real entities, just characters in the video game.

That is our fault. We should regulate such things. It is not like, without the usage of the word "God", a story cannot be completed. There are plethora of other ways to make the story good. Fiction or not, we are changing the perspective of "God" by reading such things again and again.
