honestly, I’ve only hit chapter 15 and I feel like I can’t go on... we have this abusive, domineering male lead who seems to hold absolute control over the female lead because... he’s rich? or something? she says that she’s been trying to run away from him for 2 YEARS and constantly acts out to try to make him hate her. after she time travels back, her solution to this toxic relationship is... being obedient so he finally lets her go outside. I literally could not bear reading about this relationship—I mean, it causes the FL to experience severe physical and psychological trauma, and I just kept wishing she’d be able to finally be free. of course, maybe it gets better later on in the story and they somehow transform into a really cute couple, but with this kind of backdrop, it’s really difficult for me to enjoy this story.

Thank you! I started to give up people and then I noticed this. I agree with you. Is completely disgusting that the authors turn abusive guys into loveable guys.This Mc is completely brain dead. I mean come on she tried to escape from the guy and got abused and now that she has a new lease on life. What doe she do, she continues to stay with him. I really don't know what people see in Mc likes this and ML that are abusive. I AM STARTING to think that the girls here are a bunch of closet masochist. Give me a break and realize this isn't even cutie story at all even if you guys insist that is all a misunderstanding. I think this what is called Stockholm syndrome relationship. Seriously if this was real people would start to call Mc a fool.
The first chapter is disgusting! MC is raped. How can there be any misunderstanding? It is just despicable. Besides, the male lead is a power-hungry cold-blooded murderer, with no qualms about torturing and crippling his own relatives, just to hold on to power. And I think the female lead may have committed murders too. How is this a love story?
k5885:i think you should read continue reading the novel i just don't want you to miss out because the beginning of the novel. even though there are misunderstanding but it is interesting reading about their relationship growth and how she gets revenge on her friend. it is ok if you don't like it though.

👏👏👏 Thank you for speaking out. I already read this story on another platform, I need to say that is sad that it's so high raked. I feel totally disgusted thinking that this is even a story. Let's be real if you (people o enjoy this story) were raped and caged by someone even if they are the most beautiful and handsome man you ever seen. I don't think you all will feel it's a beautiful love story. She feels that her only option is to to obedient!!! I don't think I need to say more because if all like freddom. I don't see freedom iguals to obedience to someone. I don't recommend this story to anyone.

from what I understood this story is bit confusing a lot like FL ye wanwan is a school girl ,20years old ...but why she acts like worriless nie , or else ... is there a double character in this story, only one possiblity is there when ye wan wan was 16 years old author mentioned terrorist attack may be during that attack she and worriless nie might be died so ye wan wan' s soul reincarnated inside worriless nie .....even ML 's expression changes whenever she drinks or keeps fighting. For to keep safe FL ,,, ML completely destoryed worri less nie identity....( It's my own imagination don't get a worng idea ) it's a good thing that ML changed from aggressive one to easy going .but in first place he used to be very abusive. I hate that fact of course😠 , is that child really ye wan wan' s and si ye han ..please reveal the past soon ..😃I'm eagerly waiting .......
The more chapters i read the more i know ML had his reason why he behaved like that, and FL misunderstood him. After all she had different goal in life. He's actually sweet and the story is different than others abusive aloof male CEO. Well compare to the stars reborn, one birth two treasures, bring national husband home, etc. This one is way better.

I have made my judgment after reading 1000+ chapters and here's how I reviewed it 5 months ago "It surprises me that such a toxic book is actually in the top 10 in the power ranking. The male lead is an absolute controlling, dominant, unreasonable rapist and abuser yet is portrayed as someone who is lonely and has a dark past. Well tell you what, having a dark history or trauma makes your actions UNDERSTANDABLE and not EXCUSABLE. Abusers who use abuse as an excuse to abuse others are the worst. He continously harrases, abducts and locks up the FL for socialising with other males and expects her to wholeheartedly love him.. Like excuse me TF?? The most ridiculous part of the story is that the FL even forgives him and falls in love with him... Like wut? Well I guess it's safe to say that the author has never been raped, tortured, abused in any way because if she had even a littile bit of experience about even one of these things the story certainly wouldn't have progressed this way. A rapist is sympathised with and a abused woman is forced two love her abuser and all of this happens as if this is only natural because if a man want a woman to love her she should just give in, if a man traps you and cages you well it's for your own good because he knows better and you don't, if a man erases your very identify he must've had his reasons because obviously he has the authority to dictate your entire life. And all of this happens in the name of "love". Well I guess we can also say that the author doesn't know what love is. If you think forcing someone to love you out of fear and circumstances is okaaay..well go ahead and read this story. I am so disappointed in this author because I loved Hidden Marriage but this book is an utter disappointment and harmful to the society as it propagates and glorifies negative and toxic relationships that women are actually suffering from. Smh "

Back when i wrote this, bnhh was the first novel I've read and was naive, lol ive read so many novels rn and I have to agree with you. This plot is getting common and annoying, im surprised i finished bnhh but i have no regrets anyway
