This is absolutely a gem. A kickass female MC who isn't tied down by romance. I love the other novels with female MCs but no matter how talented the female lead is, she is always inferior to her counter part - be it in wealth, nobility, popularity or skills. In this novel, our MC is the man. She doesn't take any bs and is on equal footing (or even higher) than her peers. Granted other MCs are like this too but atleast she doesn't have a shadow guardian ("the male lead") that makes her problems go away if shw cant handle it. Other than the great plot, amazing translation quality!

Maybe so, but it informs us of all the relavent info, the plots all tend to follow the same basic path, so I reckon you did a pretty good job

Hi guys! So I've read somw of the replies here. Some of you question the romance tag. I never denied that it has one. I mean come on, almost all novels has romance. As this is a review, I'm just saying that at ch43 (even at ch90), our mc isnt tied down by romance (like you know kilked in her previous life by her love, gets revenge for the unfortunate owner of the body because of divorce/betrayal oraved by a potential ML in her bew life).
I agree very much that usally female MCs tend to be enslaved to the romance genre and its cliches, even with strong female leads. Thankfully this is certainly not the case here and it even manages to avoid falling off from the other side of the horse by not following the generic xianxia templates too much.
Indeed... This novel is a gem... With the mc being on the same rank or higher within her peers... And no male guardian that act as protector in shadow... At the same time the plot and story flow is really interesting that I can't wait for more chapter release per week... So I do hope the to will increase the weekly chapter releases... Heheheh.
There are a couple where MC has powerful ML fiancé, but she either takes care of her own problems or he plays her support when they work together. Does that count? (Though I'll have to look up the specific names if you're interested... They're all something like Genius Divine Vicious Medical Il/legitimate Phoenix Daughter of the Xth Wife and/or General. )
