Overall, a novel with good ideas but poor character design. After being framed and sentenced to death for murder, the MC- a violent gang boss- traveled to a parallel world to become part of a police investigation team. He is randomly tied to a system, but when catching criminals, he relies on forced plot development (instead of using brains). I do not like the MC's personality (brash and rude like a gangster); in fact, the original police officer (whose body MC transmigrated into) seemed to have a much better personality compared to MC. I was looking forward to this since we don't have good Chinese detective webnovels (most are Japanese like "Shinrei Tantei Yakumo"), but I was disappointed (my rating was already +1 for having the game system, but character development turned out to be too poor).

Thanks for the review. Although I love system based novel, but what I hate the most is an mc with an idiot thinking patterns, forced plot, a heavy armor plot, and the author who act smart by making his mc looks smart by making all the other people in the novel turned into idiots who doesn't know how to spell idiots. By the background of the mc and your review, it's a fixed for me to drop this novel even before reading it. Thanks man, for making me not wasting my time try to read even one chapter from this trashy novel
Darn. I was only interested in this because I was relying on it being similar to Shinrei Tantei Yakumo/Psychic Detective Yakumo. Or maybe Amazing Detective Di Renjie (which is far better). Guess I won't be voting for this, but might check it out when the translated chapters are released. Thanks for the review
