I was expecting a webnovel but found real literature instead. If the rest of the book lives up to the first 30 chapters then it'll be the best webnovel on this site, hands down.

Ya, it's a really good novel, imo all Mao Ni's novels are great, too bad 'The Outsider' or whatever the translation is called of one of his novel isn't translated - since I really enjoyed it even though it isnt the usual xianxia martial arts on this site, more about mecha, literal martial arts and fixing stuff
Skeen I kinda enjoyed legend of supreme soldier, which is mecha/martial arts, even though Fang Xiang has real issues with pacing, especially how abruptly he ends his stuff, he builds interesting worlds and engaging characters. FX, along with August Eagle, Er Gen and the guy who wrote emperors domination are all decent second tier of authors but only Mao Ni is up there with someone like Gu Long.
