I agree with the beginning but it branches off eventually as Yang Chen actually has his backstory somewhat hidden and Qingfeng has most of it pretty obvious as well as the fact that the wives are different with their interactions.

It's actually quite different. The character types are the same, and they both use Wuxia MC with cold CEO wife... but that's basically it. Then, it just follows a lot of the same old tropes. Heck, compared to many of the fantasy stories, this is much less a rip off... But, a lot of what makes this different isn't done well and actually makes this a turn off...
