Review Detail of Dvaita in My MCV and Doomsday

This is a cookie-cutter apocalypse story that's actually a cultivation novel in disguise. As usual, the world ends in zombies and China numbah 1 in zombies as well. Our MC, who had access to a mysterious alien tech, starts Doomsday prepping with limited resources. Unfortunately, once the end of the fuckin world actually comes, he promptly goes around offending all with his minibus and a harem that he collects with his MC aura. There's an inkling of a larger plot, about a secret Illuminati thing that knew the apocalypse was coming, but that's left undeveloped for a large part of the story. The minibus he owns is a super advanced futuristic mobile base and the MC is diligent in enhancing it's features only to never use them. He added a biological lab and never used it more than twice. He added an automated 3D printer for weapons and completely forgot about it the next chapter. And here's the best part of the bus. It uses a potato Cannon that fires compressed air. In this universe, apparently nothing's stronger than compressed air. The side characters never question the complete breakdown of physics. With the MC in the picture, spacetime inversion, advanced science, FTL travel, the second coming of Christ... Everything is possible. And his ability, which has nothing to do with the capabilities he exhibits are completely ignored and not questioned by a single character. The plot is a nightmarish mishmash of standard cliches. Around chapter 600, the author got bored of the junk in the novel and took the plot to Japan for the standard Chinese racism best racism. Leave your logic and rationality elsewhere to read this

This story is only translated up to chapter 496. The only way you could have read up to and past chapter 600 is through MTL. Maybe the reason you don't like it is due to a failure in the MTL. I also don't remember the part about the 3D printer for weapons. He has not forgotten about the bio lab at all. It is currently evolving a couple of the plants into something more useful.

Well, sure MTL is a bit faulty when it comes to grammar and stuff but the author is pretty blatant about the discrimination against Japan. As for the 3D printer, that's already translated. Way back, the MC commissioned the creation of the Military Factory for creating custom weapons etc. It's never ever used. And let's be realistic, throughout the book, he talks as if the potato Cannon he has is more powerful than artillery firing depleted uranium tipped sabots.

The air cannon comes from the Starseed and the Starseed comes from outer space from some super duper advanced place. It may not make sense on how it works, but that would be because it is to advanced for the planet to understand. I don't know what to say about the 3D printer. We never see him run out of guns or bullets and he hasn't been buying them ether. He has also been using guns for trading as well. If the 3D printer was done then it is one of those things that just sits in the background and is assumed that is being used and why they are never low on bullets and guns.

I mean, it could come from the future for all we care, but the laws of physics on Earth are still the same. If the four fundamental forces changed even a bit, the entire Universe would end in a supernova level explosion. But that isn't the key. Throughout the novel, the MC uses a chinese sniper rifle to eliminate zombies, monsters, mutants, x-men, Thanos, Superman, Jesus Christ and repeatedly scrounges up bullets etc from various forces he meets and destroys. So it's obvious he needs bullets from elsewhere. And all said and done, potato guns lack coherence, The airflow will just become a mild rejuvenating breeze at any meaningful distance

Well, it seems you are overly determined to not like the LN. That is your choice. I don't see it as bad of a light as you do though.

It's more of a criticism than a critique yes. But there has been no obvious way of communicating with the author so far. So it's more of a lookahead for other prospective readers who have had similar issues with other novels in the same genre. I mean, most CN apocalypse novels have some racism against Japan in them (GDW, apocalypse eschatology, Castle of black iron). I was genuinely happy this didn't have it only for the author to ruin it all down the line.

Unfortunately, your not going to get away from the racist remarks since china tells it's people that they are the Master Race.

I mean it's not just that, most of the asian countrys have a lot of bad history with each other. The Mongolians and Chinese have been warring for millennium, China and japan have both run ramp shod in Korea, Japan committed multiple massacres and atrocities in china during WW2 which was particularly recent and something that is no doubt clearly told to the younger generation by the older one that was alive when it happened. The racism comes from a lot of bad blood between the countries that has been nurtured for centuries, and when racism is involved no one is ever going to sit there and go "oh maybe i am the inferior race" they are always going to consider their race best for whatever reason they believe in whether its culture or power etc. It's a bit more complicated than just china telling its people they are the master race, and as far as i can tell in most of the Chinese novels i read the author doesn't usually go the master race route but more of you did terrible things to my countries people route so i don't care about doing terrible things to yours. Real master race racism probably looks more like the nazis where you just kill all of the inferior race as fast as you can while most novels just have the MC just **** up whoever decides to **** with him and leave most other people to themselves.

Glad, this comment thread didn't devolve into ranting/arguing/flaming against who is right, out wrong. Instead the people just calmly describe why there is always racism in almost every story, it's because of stupid wars. At least that's what methinks.
