IT's amazing how people are reviewing this like they have finished the story when this has LITERALLY been copied and pasted from WW. But in all honesty, this is one of the BEST work I have ever read and I must give it 5/5.

LIKEthe story is the kind that starts slow but when you get into the story you won't feel the slowness anymore
YourGrandfather:But why did you gave it 5/5? Because I read to 39 or 40 and the story has yet grab me
40 chapters is barely 5% of the book but I got to admit the first hundreds chapter weren’t so good but it help ties stuff together in the end.

Any story that doesn't grab the reader in the first chapter isn't good. Why would a reader have to work hard to get into a story reading over 100 chapters before it grabs their attention? Why would the person continue reading? It's illogical. That's why authors should write short stories first to practice pulling people in because unless someone is bored why would they keep reading something they don't find interesting especially fiction?

It's personal: I've read up to 45th chapter and dropped it for lack of interest. Maybe 6-7 months later I gave it another chance (caz there was nothing to read). After arriving at chapter 90 I couldn't stop myself anymore, with one breath I've finished all translated chapters (around 300-400 at that time). Too bad at that time mtl wasn't good as it's nowadays, so I took a pause for some months and then retake from there I stoped. Repeat till the end. This novel is the best novel out there (or at least one of the best). It has slow start because mc is just normal human at the start. Later, then he becomes a little more promising, it goes more interesting. Actually, I can't describe this novel with little words, I'll need at least some pages in word... If you have tried this novel, have read around 200-300 chapters, didn't see any value in this novel, then it's not your cake. Maybe stories about arrogant young masters, mc's with good luck and cheats everywhere is for you. Here isn't a novel, here is a legend about Meng Hao, the greediest scholar who accidently became a cultivator

Makes sense. At least somewhere before reaching chapter 100,there should be something that hooks you even if it returns to being slow for a short while

Xzibit:I have read up to the 115th chapter now, but still I'm not impressed. Cultivation type sucks, legacy sucks, weapons sucks, love plot is terrible, character construction poor... I don't know when will the real action starts...
So I was just checking out the reviews after finishing this novel two years back and see what people has to say a out this novel. As some people are aware of, this is originally a novel 'taken out' from ********** whose translator literally put his sweats and tears in translating just to have it 'copied' to here. Disregarding the actual loss, it is downright disappointing for a site like this. With this being said, I won't talk it about it further. In this section, I noticed several people dropping this novel due to several reasons. For those people, I will just say: THIS IS GOOD! This isn't only a personal opinion but a fact. There are too many evidences to prove it. Like mates. I don't care if you drop the most popular ongoing fiction. I don't care if you drop a trash or gold. But I have to selfishly care if you drop this thing without even going halfway through it. Is it okay for me to assume that this novel got this hate becuz of WW vs QI conflict? One thing I have especially noticed in webnovel sections that people here are weird. They like something people shouldn't. Look. Often times, I'm a clear-cut 'read for pleasure' guy who gives zero fucks about racism, tropes, face-smacking and so on, and just read for fun. I come here. Pick a novel. Read it. Find it boring. And drop it. That's usually how people drop a novel. But this thing is not a novel people find boring. The only possible way to find it boring is when people don't even read and just skim through the chapters. For those people who don't skim through and properly read it before dropping, you have some other taste and it's not for you.

I will admit, the first hundred or so chapters are kinda boring, and you have to slug through it. It then becomes beautiful. I read it on Amazon Kindle, i kept the all but the first book. honestly, you could probably skip the first hundred, and work your way from there, though there are some important background stuff there. think of the first hundred chapters, or first novel, as the prolouge, where you are introduced to every important art and character, and then the adventure begins when he goes to violet fate.
