Just from reading the beginning I can tell you that this novel is about as cookie cutter Xuanyuan as it gets. Unoriginal story, character, and developments. This is a carbon copy story where the same events will happen from every other novel of it's genre. Do yourself a favor and find an actual book to read.

I agree to all of your complaints about these novels, even though i read them from time to time. I love Western books as well and was wondering if you knew the author Brent Weeks and bis Painted Man series
Yea... I have done a lot of hating (and trolling lol) I have heard of Brent Weeks but I'm not sure about the Painted Man series. Looked it up, I have not read it, but I'll give it a look.
