The summary? Too repetitive! How many times can meltdown system be repeated in a paragraph? The name of the system is strange, really really strange, the surrounding sentences and information give no context as to why it would be called "Meltdown" leaving me worried the TL has gotten the name wrong. Or more importantly that this is an TL synapsis of the first chapter gone wrong. The info we are given as that the MC steals a G55 to save him and his fam ok I like that, but then it goes on to say in passing he meets some sniper dude? Is this person going to be his long time BF?? Why mention him if nah? Gaining this "Meltdown System" by running over Zeds. The way the summary is outlined makes me believe that even though this MC is a returnee, he has no practical experience with this system... or that he didn't know he could gain the system by running zombies over instead of melee killing them.... If this story is about some dude going around in his car killing zombies then I'm out. The amount of damage a human body does to a vehicle isn't little so the car shouldn't last long unless the system works on the MC's vehicles as well as himself. I like Game elements and post-apoc and dystopia stories but I can't feel to optimistic about this one regardless of if its the TL's mistake or the author's logic.

Also I gave it a 3 in all areas because I haven't read it yet and don't feel it quite frankly deserves any stars until I do but Qidian requires them so...

most likely this is a rushed, Copy paste summery I can tell you now its a basic system reincarnation Story, set on earth during the Apocalypse, He discovers the system As he runs over some zombies, before this he didn't know he even had it. Description honestly just looks like a google translate paragraph

Really hope this was a pitched favorite from an editor who read it as an MTL instead of the quality we can expect if the story does get picked for priority.

Never bothered to actually read the novel, I was so put off. Is the novel good or is it just ok or even lackluster? I believe I read a review awhile back saying it was lackluster

I understand how the summary and the first chapters might do that but overall in my opinion the story has an amazing set up, although some scenes may get repetitive that is all to develop the story itself and there tends to be a unique portion to every section of the story, I honestly can't wait for the story to unfold. You will understand why when you read it, if you have ever read legendary moonlight sculptor and loved it for the sections all though repetitive at times they helped build up connections which the author is going to show as at critical points. That Is as much as I can say without spoiling either story x3
Sorry I don't understand as I wouldn't bother reviewing something unless it was horrible or exceedingly good.

I do like LMS but haven't read it in a good bit cause of novels like Over geared that do it just as good but different. It's probably been a year or 2 since I read LMS (Stopped at like vol 32 chap 8 when I noticed Rainbow Turtle stopped translating it
