I've written a review for this novel before where I praised it to heaven and back again for it's freshness and the characters. The setting around modern treasure hunting was unique and aside from the Chinese supremacy and racial discrimination, I was thrilled. But unfortunately that's no longer the case... or at least my enthusiasm has dampened pretty hard.đ Around chapter 1300-something, it felt like the author had lost his way and just wrote for the heck of it; the storyline started to fall apart, became idle and superficial with fillers upon fillers, the characters' growth stunted and whatever potential the novel had/has was forgotten or ignored to to laziness. In the beginning I gave the novel a full score, but now it's only worth three stars. I know my review has given it more, but that's due to the translation, the updates and the world background - NOT the story development and the characters.
