This was ... disapointing. The story started pretty well, but suddenly nothing made sense, either the events happening, "sect rules" or the characters decisions. I stopped reading at the forced MC powerup. There's also a duo of characters that are comic elder brothers, but they dumb down the novel so much with their discussions that it hurt my head. Also, what kind of sect doesn't frequently survey their holy site? The plot is such a joke. Nothing actually make sense.

Read many translations from EndlessFantasy Translation good quality translation and very stable pace. This is more than worth voting for those reasons. As for the Synopsis it's a HUGE let down but Swallowed Star's Synopsis was the same as well it killed anything that would grab your attention but it's so damn amazing. Hopefully this book will do the same and prove to be much better than it's own Synopsis.

This novel is quite good, but is dragged down by inconsistencies and an extremely unoriginal author. The premise is awesome. Three different villages, each one cultivating a different art: witchcraft( hexes and curses ), zombie controlling and poison( MCs village). And this is where the awesomness ends. Within 10 chapters, MC cultivates his village's special poison cultivation skill. And instead of poison skills, he gets physically strong. He hits hard. Such a fcking dissapointment. And once in a while, when its convenient for the plot, he has poison skills. The novel is extremely generic. There is better around.
