Dont worry dude this MC is Kickass without any powers and by that I mean...have you read the Japanese series "Gate: Jieitai Kano Chi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri " ? It's very much similar to that in the sense Mideavel army facing against Modern military/Technological advancement = Absolute Carnage....btw I also prefer OP MC to weak willed, crybaby **** mc.....but believe me "Release The Witch" is really epic...you will get the same excitement of OP MC because he can beat any obstacle with his Modern technology weaponry

I agree that the novel is good. However concerning the cheat like ability... (spoilers) Just because the author didn't openly mention that Roland had a cheat like ability doesn't mean he doesn't have one. Since the novel started he was only stated to be a mechanical engineer but he has shown he has the knowledge rivaling every top expert from every known field on earth. Even his understanding of mechanical engineering seems to be exaggerated. He is apparently a professional chef, a bomb maker, a skilled chemist, a city planner, a warfare tactician, perfume maker and the list goes on. I would have just preferred if the author directly stated he had the library of heavens path rather than making Roland seem omniscient with no plausible explanation. Other than how overpowered the main character is without any explanation I love the novel overall.
