I did the maths ,and according to the number of chapters and the translation speed, this novel would take about 6 years to read if they keep the pace at 5ch/week. Hell no! I could learn to read Chinese in less than that.

LIKEYou should also try out "Forty Millenniums of Cultivation" on this site. It is translated at 10+ chapters a week right now. I find it to be quite a fun SciFi LN. You might find that it gets a little meh when he goes to University for a few chapters, but just read a few more chapters past that and it starts to get better and better the further into the story you get :)

Interesting, I grew up bilingual. So I speak both Mandarin and English. Having gone through a formal education for both makes me really appreciate the intricacies of mandarin. But then again I suck at languages so I always have issues with the grammar etc. Personally, never read webnovels in Chinese. The closest to a Chinese book I’ve read is by Jin Yong. With 鹿鼎记,雪山飞狐和神雕侠侣。But even then I could barely understand what he was trying to portray. Which is why I’m just here out of pure curiosity. Did you learn it yet? And also the reason why I respect Translators a lot.
