those trolls expose themselves by doing so,why even do a review if you havent read the novel and some hate it because it is not about the mage but in reality the title tell you that mo fan is a versatile mage,lol at the above comment section one guy come from gravity tales just to give one star comment,get a life you haters smh, Most importantly is this novel has great popularity so they need to do their best to drag down the popularity of this novel haha

though nothing much is written about the novel itself in your review, I went out of my way to like and Comment just because of 1 line. you said, "what people are expecting from a Chinese novel". I kinda liked that line because you know how to distinguish. most people forget that novel like "versatile mage" has a genre and every genre shares some tropes. Chinese webnovel or eastern Fantasy(if we don't want to trigger some people) almost always have a trash becoming powerful, face slapping, young master villain etc. those things will be in most of the eastern Fantasy always. it's just stupid to give a novel 1* just because it's faithful to its genre.
