Ignore the trolls. There is a crappy anime and manga. Some watched that and got the wrong idea. This is an interesting novel that combines cultivation with magic and a modern setting. It does take a little bit to get into it. I think this story has a fun mc with a lot off good fight scenes. Are character has an advantage. Most people start off with one power and then gradually get more as they level up. He starts off with two. I like the waxia elements with the modern setting. Give it a shot.

They are right tho its not worth the read. Although you say its better than the anime and manga it doesn't mean much because the book is still crap. Lots of novels with cultivation + modern setting Mc is dumb in my opinion I think you are confused when you mention lots of good fight scenes because there are a lot of gaps in the fight scenes and fight scenes don't feel intense. Not to mention there's so much useless info you have to skip before it seems a little better Not to mention the characters are generic and have no depth
then bye bye,you can leave now and read other good novels,there are many people rushing to read this novel,they just dont know this book is posed on this website yet,but they keep asking for the manga link or the novel link,hope you have a happy life after leaving this community

Stop trying to put the book on a pedestal because its really crap. they are asking for links because someone would recommend this crap as a good novel. And yes I'm living a happy life reading other novels after I dropped this.

Just because you can walk to a direction, do you always do that? If a car, train, or many other things are more convenient and expends less of your OWN energy, why would you want to do that? By using Wind spells to get around, you're practically using up mana for no reason. Magicians are accepted to be ready to fight against Magical Beasts at all times, so it'd be pretty stupid if they are using magic spells to get around.

RynRyl:No wonder why i think this is famliar is this an original work? An adaptation? Plagiarism? It only clicks to me when he got both lightning and fire elements I believe the title is.. "Quan zhi fa shi" or full time mage
