This is probably the most underrated novel on Qidian. Whilst the pacing may seem slow and then some readers away early on, if you have the patience to continue reading, you’ll realise that this story is a gem. The previously “slow” pacing now backed with the depth and richness of the story now turns into a steady and firm pace. That the main character is not exactly a reincarnation, and his “cheat” is not really powerful. Yes, his cheat may be a “learning” type, but it’s not like what he learns is overpowered. To be honest, the scaling of his cheat is just right and allowed author to make the story world even richer. Yes, he has memories of the past life, but he doesn’t get the full memories at one go, making it not too over powered either. This in turn allows the author to not dumb down his story too much. Some stories lower the intelligence of villains to a illogically laughable level just to make the main character’s very basic logic come across as genius. This story doesn’t do that. The MC actually comes across as having above average IQ or throws actual legit logical curveballs. It really saddens me that this novel’s ranking each week is so low, and it really looks like the number of people aware of this novel is also very low.

LIKEI think the reason these kind of good novels are hidden is mostly because of the synopsis doesn' really explain anything. I've been planning to read this for a while now and just can't seem to bring myself to read it unt today. (Just doing this for the points. Sorry for disturbing you man. I know all the novels here have nonsense synopses lol I still think this is one of the main reasons though.)
