Review Detail of Hellequin in God and Devil World

First he doesn't rape and kill people because of the past. It is an influence that he has grown up learning. Second if you also notice he has only attacked, killed or punished those that have done harm to his fellow countrymen. If any other ethnicity killed his people, he killed them. If they cannibalized a human, he killed them. If they made his countrymen slaves and treated them bad he sent them and their family to the scum battalion. (which they could still have a chance to gain their ******* back if they were lucky and worked their a** off.) And yes your "example" of your story screams of racism and misogynistic views. If you still are not understanding then i am happy to school you and anyone else if they feel brave enough to try to bash and flame a goos novel. P.S.- and since you and many others seem to not be able to read it does state on many places that this is a mature novel that contains graphic scenes that may not be suitable for those with weak stomachs.

I haven't read the novel but read the synopsis. I didn't think this was gonna be a story about war with other countries. I thought it was about humans banding together to fit against mythical mutated creatures that are smart and enslaving humans

I guess if the world gets screwed, there is no internet/communication etc. then evil people can use ignorance to portray other contries as evil and what not but I dunno about enslaving a whole race. Maybe you can brainwash the next generation but surely this generation of people wouldn't so easily accept slavery

Ty for review but still i think ill skip this novel , dont like the type of zombie novels where people fight eachother and show sad side of humans. I mean its not that i dont like it but bored of novels/movies with zombies where i wish to zombies to win when i see how people act after zombie apocalipse. Question. If an American wrote a story about a post apocalyptic world where the American ended up in, let's say, the middle East. If set author demonized all middle esterners as terrorist, evil, mysogonist essentially what they call them/ doing now. Would you call that? information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view possibly. Just because a story is fiction (like he Gulf of tonkin incident) doesn't mean it can't spread propoganda. But meh people seem to act like there aren't places with no electricity and running water now. Only first world countries would devolve into this sort of mindless madness. Only difference for the majority of the world would be the monsters (food shortages, medical supplies, toilet paper...but I digress)

As you stated earlier, there are warnings this is a mature novel with graphic scenes, but these idiots either don't read the disclaimer or do with the intent to bash the novel. I don't think he was saying he's pro communism, just that in this instance, a semi communist govt would work better than a democratic one would. Even America has had to impart martial law during times of great unrest. And we didnt even have to deal with millions of zombies.

It wasn't pro communism at all. There was many instances when he went up against the former chinese officals bc they were taking advantage of the civilians. Also likewise there was another time a group of idiots who wanted "democracy" and almost got his soldiers killed by the zombies. The novel is just a straight up zombie apocalypse, the people spewing crap about "propaganda" are only projecting their own anti-china hate onto what they read.

Your review is good with the history and stuff. If only this novel is set in modern times but this is the apocalyse dammit. What does history matter when the world is already near destruction? Surely we van put aside our differences in such setting. Punishing evil guys is good but why so biased towards other countries. Veitnamist treating chinese as food? Do you serously believe that? Whats the difference between Chinese and other humans in an apocalypse world? I say this is just full blown propaganda teaching chinese kids to hate other countries. Teaching kids to hate chinese? There is no deep-seated hatred cuz for crying put loud the mc is just 20 yrs old. He wasnt born yet when those other countries invaded china. All he know are from those textbooks and such. So there is no real reason to be deeply racist against others especially in modern times. The authors deep biased towards other countries just ruin the plot cuz its just illogical. Its true that most people will reveal their dark side in this setting, but not all of them are that as eidence from history itself.

I can tell you that you have a very shallow understanding of humanity. This is not to say that all humans would turn on each other. However there will always be ones that hold "corrupted" ideologies. Look at the fact that there are Nazi groups still around to thus day. Or that there are racist that still preform terrible acts of hate against people. Even look at how the LGBT communities are harassed and attacked just for being who they are and just wanting to be treated like every other human. The world is more dark then we may want to believe and if there were no rules or structure to hold back the darker nature of people then I am sure it would be very close to what is seen in this novel.
