One of the reasons for the Vietnam arc and the racism of the Vietnamese to the Chinese is that throughout history Chinese dynasties have often times evaded Vietnam to expand the Chinese's own land that they own. 2 China and Vietnam share a land border where smuggling is heavy. And also Quality of products is not looked at. Many Vietnamese people believe China to be smuggling poisoned goods into their country. Whether it has or hasn't happened i don't know since i've never been to the borders myself. Also the smugglers don't represent all Chinese. Sure smugglers will do it but it's vice versa Vietnamese smugglers also attempt it. In fact if anything got in it it could be the lack of attention at the border and doing a half assed job checking for such things.

what i meant was if someone hates someother people the society calls it racism and i say its not racism because there is only one human race. so its wrong usage of racism for example if someone hates ants s/he is a racist unless s/he has ant allergies.

Ah i see where you're coming from, But sadly we're not one single race. There how how many different religions and how many different beliefs. No country is the same. No religion is the same (except for believing in the same bull****) Thus the racism in the part is us humans being racist to the other races. Example being Whites are often times racist against blacks. And ever since 9/11 (Most Whites usually see all muslims as Terrorists.) However the thing is muslims weren't terrorists first. The US has a long history of dealing things with violence and having the harder fist. So basically you can say it's the white mans fault for 9/11 and the US'S way of dealing with things.

No, Islamic believers were not the first terrorist, that would be further back in the past before Islam became a religion. I think the author has a good handle on how people would react in this situation. Especially the MC, who starts out with good values but is influenced as he gains more power. Power corrupts, Absolute Power, Absolutely Corrupts. Homo sapiens are not a nice race. They are cruel, abusive, and petty as a majority, unless there is some force preventing them from being so. For example, Religions or Laws. Without either of those it becomes Might makes Right. History provides plenty of examples. Look any where in the Dark Ages or at what was going on any time in the world 0 AD or before. Persians, Egyptians, Mongols, etc.....

There is only one race and that is the human race. All the rest of the subgroups were invented by white supremacist europeans in the 18th century when they were committing genocide against the native americans and enslaving africans while trying to colonise the rest. Their ideology was that all these other "races" were different, and inferior to them, so it's absolutely fine to treat them like animals without any shred of common decency. It's something I absolutely despise and disagree with.

Colonialism has nothing to with race, Arabs are Caucasoid like Europeans yet Europeans colonized them. Futhermore, the only colony remaining today does not belong to Whites but to Jews(Palestine).
