This story was great at the beginning but as the story goes on, you get angrier and angrier by the dumb antagonists in the story. Don't read this, really.

to be fair, the story was pretty good until chapter ~200, but after MC left the capital to look for a sect, the story and writing went downhill. At ~350 I just had to drop the novel now. Sick of the MC who is supposed to be a wise special ops, but somehow turned into a retarded kid after he left the capital to go to the sect. Offends everyone, cripples dantians here and there and he thinks the matter is solved that way. In the end he faces the revenge of a way stronger enemy and gets saved via plot armor time and time again. Recycled sentences/explanations everywhere and stupid fillers/arcs.

Well, author give explain that DTL cultivation got stuck in when he is in his kingdom before got carefree personality that don't care offends anyone again.... that is why when he come to imperial kingdom he got that **** here and there.... haha, but thought it truly that DTL became more dull or stupid i think...

Don't forget the staple line "presumptuous". I had to drop the novel cuz same stuff happens all over again, he goes to a new area , some rich kid is attracted by his girlfriend or something he posess and is offended and after some intense at first repetetive after he wins and goes to anew area .the cycle continues endlessly
I totally š² agree with your comment, i felt the exact same way in the beginning when the story was good until around 200 or 300 chapters when the MC started to irritate me. For instance with Li Shi Shi when he forfit the match making her leave him and when they meet again he treats her coldly. The next one is what I hated him the most when he saves a girl named Tang Guo who is his admirer from the arrogant princess and her companions and tells one of the princess companion to say that the princess is a bitch a 100x or more and telling Tang Guo to supervise her and then he leaves and forgets her without foreseeing the outcome that it could have caused her, her life in the end. I mean anyone could have predict what would happen Tang guo but he just leaves and forgot until news of her death reaches his ears from her friend. I truly hate him for those 2 reasons even including the Chen clan family young miss who was starting to change her ways. If it was Lin Feng (PMG) he would have warned the princess by say " If anything happens to her (Tang Guo) no one would save you". That's what I think.
