With regards to my personal opinion, the start of this novel is very interesting because of how awesome the mc is, and how cool the face smacking plots are. But the moment you realize that the whole novel is just an endless cycle of face smacking, you will get use to the awesomeness of the story, and all excitement and anticipations that you have when you started reading this novel will be lost.

this novel is a novel of comedy ...there is why face slap all the time, and every single novel you read about cultivation is a stupid cycle most are in this order, wake up, make an enemy, upgrade , defeat enemy , go to next city , wake up , make an enemy , upgrade, defeat enemy, go to next city. Is this not a cycle too? what do you expect for a cultivation novel?
So true ... after the first 100 chapter, it's become so repetitive, with alway the same tricks, the same plot, the same joke, it's become dull and boring. Have the author not a shred of imagination, to not even try to change a little bit his joke ? The same one, again, again, and again lose all purpose and fun after some time.

aren't almost all or all novels the same? hunt monsters get stronger beat enemy. hunt stronger monster get stronger beat stronger enemy. or save a chick add to harem. meet chick add to harem.. get to new place meet enemy beat the enemy. get beaten (cultivate)train to get stronger then get beaten, train then get stronger beat the enemy. all stories go with a pattern. they just use different scenarios in doing so.

nope. stories go in somewhat same scenario from time to time... in action mostly fight enemies stronger if they win it is mostly through perseverance or sudden gain of power or with help of a friend or an old enemy, or they manage to run away. be the sacrifice of a friend or luck. or winning because the enemy had his guard down. there will come a time same scenario will happen in that story... and pretty much the MC will win

yes.. they do come in some pattern.. that's why there is a saying "history repeats itself". it's a cycle.. maybe the scene is different but the thought is the same...just different characters. do you watch naruto or dragonball z.?
